Overview

Pin Hex button Head Security Machine Screws are vandal resistant and can only be fixed and removed by using a special driver bit or key to fit the Pin Hex Drive. They are available in both A2 stainless steel and A4 stainless steel.

They are ideal for applications requiring medium security, and where the fixing needs to be regularly removed for maintenance reasons.Designed to reduce cam-out, which occurs often in Phillips and 2-Hole drives – this, in turn, lessens the risk of causing damage to the drive tip, screw head or the application.

Pin Hex Security Screws offer a medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost. Within the industry Pin Hex security screws are also referred to by other names including Hex Pin, Tamper Pin Hex, Socket Screw with Pin and Din 7991 with Pin.
